The Congress will be marketed through a variety of other means, including press releases, exhibits at conferences of sponsoring associations and a web site.

Congress Attendance. It is anticipated that as many as 1,000 registrants will attend the Congress. This number of registrants is consistent with the 1998 and 1999 National Congresses on Health Care Compliance, part of the National Congress Health Care Conference Series™.

Registrants will include health plan, health system, IPA and medical group medical directors, executives and board members; representatives of pharmaceutical manufacturers, PBMs and distributors; physicians and pharmacists; members of Congress and staff; regulators; and policy makers and health services researchers. Networking opportunities will occur at receptions, continental breakfasts, breaks, luncheons and the Thursday evening faculty dinner.

Exhibit Opportunities. The Congress has available Exhibit Halls A and B in which all receptions, continental breakfasts and breaks will occur. Exhibit space for supporters of the Congress will be made available in priority of grantor status on a first-come, first-served basis in the Exhibit Halls.

Faculty Banquet. On the evening of Thursday, December 9, 1999, the Congress will host an invitation-only banquet for faculty, sponsors and grant supporters. Level of participation will be contingent on grantor status.

Press Liaison. It is anticipated that the Congress will be attended by numerous journalists representing general, trade and peer review publications. Grantors will have opportunities to interact with the press, and provide press packets.

Congress Registrants. All grantors will receive a complete list of Congress registrants with a right of unlimited use.

Congress Proceedings. A separately bound Congress Proceedings publication will provide summaries of the major themes of the Congress and selected plenary and concurrent sessions. Selected tables, graphs and diagrams of the faculty will be published. The Congress Proceedings will be distributed as a removable insert to approximately 35,000 subscribers of Healthcare Business and will be mailed to approximately 10,000 leaders in the pharmaceutical sector.
